They would win the AA tournament on this day.
Also in the gallery the eventual runners up on this day, from UC Davis’ beach volleyball team, Kate O’Steen and Anna Braun.
Lots of great plays from these two, including some big blocks by Anna Braun. You’ll also see Candace Palmer & Rachel Miller, the Hope International University duo that won a CBVA tournament a few weeks earlier. We were there for game point of this match, against Susie Packard and Nathalie Rojas.
You’re also going to see the Pairs Champions of the OEC, Brissa Reaves & Corrine Williams. Taking 5th place on the day, along with Seyvion Waggoner making a few exciting plays. She would finish 5th with her partner Abby Alvarez (Cal State Northridge beach program). Lots of talent on the sand for the Surf City Days 2023 CBVA Tournament. Check out part one here.
