Just like that, the 6man weekend has come and gone, and what an exciting weekend it was. Beach Volleyball here in southern California truly shines, during this yearly tournament. Held in Manhattan Beach, once again several teams back the sands near the pier. An incredible display of athleticism from both men and women, for all onlookers to enjoy. It was no different this year, as the 2024 Charlie Saikley 6man entertained all who came to watch these matches, or compete in them.

Full galleries are on the way for Days 1 & 2. Above, is the full gallery for ‘game 1’ of a Double Final, that will go down as a memorable one I’m sure.
This first match, ends with Julia Scoles skying for a kill, match point.
However, a bit earlier in the match one of the players from Fitstop yelled over to the referee standing in front of me. “They have to beat us again, you all know that right?” They were aware.
Fitstop was on an incredible run, undefeated in the double elimination playoff of Day 2. One loss, wasn’t going to be it.
They had one more shot at winning it all. Gummy Gainz however, did beat them twice. Stay tuned for the conclusion… (see it now, in our galleries – 2024 6man Finals )
So much great volleyball was on display for all of Manhattan Beach to witness.
Whether it was the first time or the 30th time, all in attendance, including the onlookers from the sidewalk to the pier, were having a good time.
