Wednesday February 14th, 2024 in Belmont Shores, CA for beach volleyball on valentines day. Rio Hondo hosted Riverside City & San Diego City college on what turned out to be a really nice morning in Southern California. Here are photos from the first part of the Rio Hondo Roadrunners vs. Riverside City.
Rio Hondo would emerge 5-0 on the day.
RCC fought hard in almost every single match, against a tough opponent in Rio Hondo. They have a very good program going, and in a quick chat with their head coach, Teddi Esko, she talked about how lucky she is to have ladies who take this serious. She said “they all have a strong work ethic, which makes it easy to coach” and it shows. We caught Rio Hondo at El Camino to kick off the 2024 beach volleyball season.
