USC would have a phenomenal 2024 beach season –
You can also look back on athletes that have competed at the college level. Many will eventually compete against the best of the best on the AVP Tour. Some, already do. Also, the 2024 CBVA tournament season is now underway, stay tuned for photo galleries from us! (below, from part 2 of this CBVA on St. Patrick’s Day tournament… in Belmont Shores, CA)
Covering a few updates to our website in 2024:
During the 2024 college beach season, we started focusing more on getting galleries uploaded, instead of articles. Currently we feel there are a lot of great outlets now, covering individual beach volleyball events. We do want to bring back more reporting however and continue tying much of the sport together.
If you’d like to be part of our volunteer reporting staff, please contact us today.
The shift to our galleries was also a bit challenging at first. Seemingly our website did slow down quite a bit for us, so we assume it was also slow for others. Please feel free to contact us about our website speeds, if you’re ever experiencing any issues. Use the search feature to see if you’re in any of our previously uploaded galleries today.
With the conclusion of the 3C2A State Championships the 2024 beach season is all wrapped up!
About a week earlier, USC pulled off an incredible feat, by 4peating as National Champions (NCAA). USC is one of the only So Cal beach volleyball programs (NCAA) we did not catch in 2024. We did see a preview during fall ball, and could see they were brining yet another formidable team to the sand. UCLA had a very strong season and once again would meet their cross town rival USC in the finals, in Gulf Shores, Alabama.
Be sure to check our website periodically for more beach volleyball in southern California!
